Sadly to say, Caden has gone on to greener pastures. We have decided to keep him listed on our site so you can see what he has produced and you would know what he was like. Mix thoroughly with a fine dam and bake slowly at 101 degrees for 11 1/2 months. SWEET!!! Caden's First Off-Spring showed in the Pacific Northwest Shows. They have shown very well. She has shown in a couple of shows placing 4th at Awe 2008 and placing 2nd at Alpacamania 2008. He has had 4 more cria this year and we expect to see them in the show rings in 2012. Olivia Bling Bling is the Bomb! She's a looker and she has fleece that's SO beautiful! When she won her ribbons at Alpacamania 2007, Judge Wade Gease commented on the fact that "With all the different colors that create her beautiful silver grey, all of the fibers in each of those colors have the same micron". We decided at that point to have her fleece tested after her next shearing. The histogram results were just as he had mentioned. Olivia was 20 months old at the time the sample was taken and read as follows: Micron-18.4, SD: 3.7, CV: 20.1% Fibers Greater Than 30 Micron were an incredible 0.9%! We were not too surprised as Olivia's dam has produced several fine fleeced animals, not to mention incredible conformation to complete the entire package. Olivia was bred to Lakeside's Caden and she produced a beautiful male cria. He is a Dark Brown with Black points and his fleece is amazing. He is dense he has incredible crimp and the shine to his fleece is something we have never seen before. His fleece shimmers at the tips when he runs and when the wind blows. We are very excited with Rambo's first showing in 2010. He took a very deserving 1st Place Overall at the Alpaca Affaire Show 2010 and 1st Place Overall at the Alpaca Affaire Show 2011. Pictures of Rambo are to the Right. Olivia has a very quiet & sweet disposition and is a hit when people come for ranch visits. She would be an excellent addition to anyone's herd though we're not sure we can let her go. She is currently bred to Rainer's Silver Pistol. Olivia bred to Rainer's Silver Pistol and the combination of the two produced a beautiful Med to a Light Silver Grey male. Pistol is a son of Rincon Cloud. We have been waiting for this opportunity as both Olivia & Pistols Sires competed against one another, looking very much like book ends.
