Description
Ferlinghetti is the cria of Fawn Alli, one of PVA’s foundation females who has produced many outstanding alpacas winning multiple Produce of Dam awards, and Diamonte, one of PVA’s finest ever males. Ferlinghetti possesses a calm majesty and Zen-like self-possession. He does not engage in much horse-play or hazing with the other males. He approaches you in the pasture to be petted and admired, and is easily caught. Ferlinghetti is tall and solidly built, and an unusual milk-chocolate brown in color.
To date, Ferlinghetti has one cria on the ground, out of Coconut of PVA. This cria is Cordelia of PVA, a 5x Color and Reserve Color Champion in her first year of showing, 2012. Cordelia is a stunning piercingly lustrous white! On the strength of this breeding, Ferlinghetti now is expecting 4-5 crias for 2013. We believe in this guy...
