Snowmass Incan Emperor

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 847573DOB: 7/21/200321 yrs
Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas says things like "one of the most exquisite rose grey studs" when describing Snowmass Incan Emperor. She also says, "The number of truly fine handling greys are very few in the world as it is a very hard color and fleece to come in the fineness and uniformity that we seek." Snowmass Incan Emperor has all Peruvian grey and black lineage on his registration and like his sire has a very fine Vicuna type fleece. His Grand Dam, 6Peruvian Eclipse, has maintained a 16 micron count in her lifetime in the US and she was imported at 3 years of age. His sister Snowmass Magic Fox has a blue and championship in her first showing with a histogram of 17.6, 3.4, 19.3, and .8%. This line of alpacas produces fine handling demonstrated by his sire, dam, and sister's micron count being under 20. Snowmass Incan Emperor's offspring are winning in the showring. DMAR Armani, medium brown, is a 4x champion. DMAR Nikoli, appaloosa, is a multiple blue ribbon winner. DMAR Dolce just started her show career in the fall of 2010 and she is a blue ribbon winner. DMAR Dior is a 2nd place winner. This is a great start for his offspring and proof of what Snowmass Incan Emperor can do. Dam: Alpha Carina

Alpha Carina

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 1374858DOB: 8/19/200123 yrs
Alpha Carina is a wonderful and caring mom. She always has plenty of milk for her cria. Carina prefers to be left alone with her new crias for at least 3 days before being introduced back to the herd. Carina recently had her 5th offspring in April 2012. She passes on her sweet temperment to her offsprings who just love to give kisses. Carina is our PR alpaca when not pregnant. She loves to have people pet her and she kushes right in front of them so she is comfortable while they dote their attention on her. Carina's offsprings include 5x champion, DMAR Armani and last year's offspring DMAR Siriano is currently taking 1st and 2nds in his limited time of showing so far. The judges are commenting on Siriano's fineness and density. Carina's lineage includes Peruvian Hemingway and Peruvia Victor which accounts for her passing on long staple length and fineness to her crias. If you are looking for a foundation female who can breed and birth easily, has plenty of milk and cares for her crias, and is an easy maintainer then Carina is the one for you. Carina comes with a free rebreeding to any fully owned DMAR herdsire. This purchase also includes up to 6 months free agistment for those who need time to build up their farm or ranch.

Description

DMAR Armani is a compact male. His staple length is long and his fiber is baby alpaca quality for a breeding male. He also possesses plenty of architecture in his crimp and is very dense. Take a look at his fiber stats. Armani also has excellent coverage from his top knot all the way down to his feet. Armani lets his presence be known to all other alpacas. He walks confidently and is very studly. Armani is manageable, a true pleasure to work with and is an easy maintainer. Armani seems to be taking after his sire, Snowmass Incan Emperor, who at 5 years of age is still holding onto his baby fine alpaca fiber and holding a curvature of 44. Armani is still showing at 3+ years of age and is placing very well with his latest being a 1st at the level IV halter show at CABO and his fleece just took 1st and Reserve Color Champ at Southern Select. We are interested in finding a partner - 1/2 interest of Armani. This boy has a lot going for him and we wish to share him to spread his genetics. Armani's lineage includes Incan Magic, Peruvian Hemingway, and PPeruvian Victor. 5x Champ, DMAR Armani, has begun his breeding career and his first cria hit the ground on 3/7/11. A beautiful 16 lb strong brown female. Following the female Armani had 2 male offsprings (fawn and brown). Sniper, the brown male, will be going to his first show this fall of 2013. All breedings at DMAR include 60 day free agistment for dam and cria at side under 4 months of age. Armani is available for leasing too.
