Peruvian Presidio Son
HRAZ Lock & Load
HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 1348897DOB: 10/25/200519 yrs
Half Peruvian, half Bolivian, part Accoyo, Lock & Load is quite the macho man. Combining Accoyo Caligula and Get of Sire Champion Peruvian Presidio on the top of the lineage chart and Bolivian Chieftain B956 on the bottom, he's exactly what you'd expect from such an illustious pedigree. Lock & Load is the son of Austine F0379 AOA, the high-selling huacaya female at the 2003 Futurity auction. Austine's first cria, HRAZ Dulce de Leche, won every color championship for which she was eligible and sold for $30,000. Lock & Load is Austine's second cria. He's a beautifully conformed young male with rich, dense, pure white fiber, fantastic crimp, lock structure, brightness, and handle. He also has great coverage from dense topknot to toes. He has a high libido and can't wait to meet your girls. He was way too young to compete in the 2006 shows, and due to the previous owners' family demands he simply was not given the exposure at shows. However, this boy has it all.
Lock & Load has 4 offspring on the ground now, 2 males and 3 females. His first offspring, DMAR Magnum, took 1st and Reserve Color Champion at the 2009 New Mexico Alpaca Show. The judge commented that Magnum's fleece felt like butter!
All breedings include 60 days of agistment for dam and cria at side up to 4 months of age. All pregnancies are confirmed by ultrasound.
