4Peruvian Black Magic, Peruvian Black Epic, Pperuvian Guellermo and Michelangelo…. True Black, Silver and Rose Grey. What a fantastic, proven, championship bloodline! Wintercreek’s Sieva is very typey with wonderful fineness and handle. Good crimp and excellent density. Average shear weight is still 5# every year. She is a non-fading true black with three small spots of silver on her neck and side. Looking at her Micron Stats, she has only increased her micron AFD by two points in 4 years. Her fiber is very uniform and has a beautiful handle. I either sell her fiber immediately, or I make yarn and use it for scarves and hats. Sieva’s conformation is straight, bone structure is large. Easily bred and delivers without assistance. She has great mothering instincts, loads of milk and is very protective. She has thrown two silver males, a true black female, a fawn female, 2 silver females and 2 Rose Greys (one male/one female) ! Great breeding stats!! Sieva was bred in early Spring of 2019 to ATM Firestone (Julio) . She now has a Medium Rose Grey female by her side. She is beautiful! Very dense, with consistent crimp and a soft, soft handle. Picasso by Kolbe is new to Wintercreek's Herdsire Row this year. He will be beginning his breeding career in the Spring of 2025. He has a lot of Grey and Rose Grey females just waiting in line!! Picasso's lineage is very deep. On the top side he is out of Crescent Moon's Kolbe (LRG), a multiple-multiple championship winner. From there to CM's Wilkinson (MSG), Accoyo America Jason, CM's Rayo Del Sol (MRG), Danko (MRG) and on.... On his bottom (Dam's side) CM's Accoyo Realaza (LF), 4Peruvian Legacy (WH), Principio and Legacy's El Duro (F). Lots of color!! Picasso's fleece was just shorn when he moved to Wintercreek and his fleece did not come with him. What I see, at present, is bundles, tight crimp from skin to end. He has spots, but that excites me because of range of colors it can include. His handle is super soft and I can warm my hands in it...when he lets me. Picasso is also in the Top 5% of 2024 EPDs. I am looking forward to the breeding season and next spring's crop!
