Total Eclipse of the Moon is a stunning example of some of Moonlight's best work. Of course, we have been happy everything mom has made us too! Snowmass Royal Moonlight was one of our original herdsire purchases and he has blessed us with many fine amazing cria. Moonlight is a Royal Rose son out of a Legacy Gold daughter giving him some powerhouse genetics including Hemingway, Bueno and Legacy. His dam is one of our favorite production females out of Acero Marka's Mr. Know it All, famous for producing offspring with fine consistent fleeces. Eclipse has solid conformation with a large bone structure on a compact frame. Judges have commented on how well this male is put together. His fleece is fine and consistent, showing the same structure from head to deep down the leg. His show career has been successful. He routinely placed in the top of the white class in his yearling year taking two seconds and a first in large competitive white classes (Are white classes ever not large and competitive?). He placed 2nd in the only two year class we took him to at Mapaca. As a juvi he was a little on the small side but still place in the front line up. In 2013 we showed him as a mature male at both PAOBA and Empire. He took second at PAOBA to the color champion and first at Empire where he was placed to show against the two year olds. He was TWICE the age of all the rest of the competition and still took the top spot. This just goes to show that he has maintained his fleece as he has aged and is breeding as well. First crias have arrived and we are happy with what we see so far.

Glimmer is a truly stunning young lady. The combination of Stratosphere and Ivory Rose was certainly a good one. Her sire is PHA Accoyo Stratosphere a well known Legacy son, and her dam is Ivory Rose, an Accoyo Maverick daughter, a well know Royal Fawn son. Giving her a well known genetic Accoyo pedigree. Her fleece is a lovely medium fawn with a very long staple length in bright crimpy fleece. Last year at shearing she had a body weight of 88 pounds and her shear weight was an exceptional 4.5 pounds. She does have a dark heart shaped spot on her right rear hip and we are concerned how this might present in the show ring. For this reason, we are showing her fleece from last year in fleece shows this year. Regardless of the outcome, we feel that Glimmer is a winner and we look forward to breeding her this spring upon her return from the show. Glimmer producted a beige male when bred to our very own Total Eclipse of the Moon. We like what we see and are planning a rebreed.
