Who wants a 14 year old herdsire? I say someone who looks beyond the now and can see the future. While Best Man's Elite Reflection was a show winner in his own right and has produced multiple show winning cria, his true value is in his slow growth fiber. Having bought a herdsire with and AFD in the teens only to "blowout to 30+ microns in 4 years, this trait cannot be overstated. How many 14 year old alpacas have you seen with a fiber diameter of 23.5? My guess is, not many. For the price of one or two breedings to the latest "macho showring stud" you can infuse this fineness genetic trait in all of your future generations. And let's not overlook a SD of 4.2. If you are looking for fineness and consistency this is a total package. What is not shown by the stats is the incredible brightness that is infused in his offspring's fleece. If you are trying to establish a quality foundation herd you need to seriously consider Reflection. His sire is the multi champion Snowmass Best Man who is now in Switzerland. His dam is champion producing Snowmass Elite Luminescence. On the sire’s side: Quechua, Accoyo Elite, Snowmass Maree Love, Hemingway, Snowmass Wedding Pacabells, Don Julio, Pachelbel On the dam’s side: White Gold, Legacy, Accoyo Dani, Snowmass Accoyo Mist, Christmist, Accoyocusani, Augusto, Isabella From those genetics came a multi banner winning macho whose fleece presents Consistency, and Fineness with outstanding conformation. Don't be fooled by his age. Reflection still produces incredible cria with fineness, consistency and brightness that can only be described as blinding. His cria have won 2 Color Champion, 8 Reserve Color Champion, 37 First Place and 41 Second Place banners and ribbons. He is priced for quick sale. Call or email FMI.

Top 1% EPD for Fineness

Snowmass Heaven Kissed

Heaven Kissed is a problem breeder but if you are successful she has stunning cria. All 3 of Heaven Kissed's cria are incredibly soft and luxurious to the touch. Lippencott's Acamas is in the top 1% EPD for AFD, SDAFD, and SF. 5% for >30. While Lippencott's Miracle Whip is in the top 5% for AFD, ADAFD, SF and >30. Her histogram AFD is 20.3 with and SD of 3.7. Slip Stitch has an AFD of 17.2 and an SD of 3.6. She has 4 top 1% and 1 top 5% EPDs. Heaven Kissed can definitely add softness and handle to your herd. If you can pull Heaven Kissed over the finish line she will give you a great cria. We are a small farm and cannot give Heaven Kissed the attention she needs to ensure successful breeding and delivery. If you have the time and are willing to put in a little extra effort this is a great deal.

Amazing Fiber

Description

Miracle Whip is an alpaca that needs a good, caring home. She experienced trauma as a two day old alpaca that has left her at risk if bred. Because of this we do not recommend breeding her. Additionally she is a "spitter." When handling her she needs kindness and compassion. We can perform "herd health" maintenance without fighting but she will spit throughout the process. I believe that with some TLC and specialized attention she would improve. Her fiber is absolutely incredible. At 3 years old her AFD is 20 but the SD is 3.7. This makes her fiber feel like butter. Miracle Whip is not a "pet" alpaca nor do we feel she is a "breeder." Her place is as a fiber producer for a hand crafter that can giver her the special attention she deserves.
