We are thrilled to add this award winning sire to our herd. Genesis brings a very dense and fine fleece along with unique high quality bloodlines. We can’t wait to see how he will bring us to the next generation of alpacas. Genesis’ first crias have arrived at Caley and to say we are impressed would be an understatement. Genesis has only been at the Caley farm for a short period of time but has definitely made an impact producing many champion offspring for us.

Mercedes is a welcomed addition to our herd. She has high quality genetics on both sides with Aztec Shaka as her sire and Tiger Lily Samantha Ice as her Dam. Tiger Lily Samantha Ice is a multiple champion and supreme champion that produced Multiple Supreme Champions. We had always admired Samantha Ice and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add one of her incredible daughters to our herd in 2019. Mercedes has a show record of Two Supreme Champions, Four Grand Champions and Eight Reserve Champions. We are constantly impressed with what she is producing for us. Her third daughter, Caley’s Chevelle, sired by Snowmass XXX Braveheart is a 7x Champion. Mercedes' cria in 2023 is sired by Caley's Ascension and she was awarded Supreme Champion female at the Keystone Alpaca Classic in 2024. Mercedes had her first male cria in 2024 out of Caley’s Spit Fire and he is the nicest cria we’ve had out of either of them! Color Genotype: Ee Aa2

Like their sire, the offsprings are extremely dense, uniform , fine and come in all colours from white to fawn to brown and black and we can include roan as well. They are boxy in style with great head style. 2023 Alpaca Quebec Spring Show: One of a Kind was awarded the Supreme Adult Male and was a Stand Out! in his group. You open up the fleece and it has a WOW! factor. The architecture, staple formation, the independent staples, the organisation, the uniformity and structure across the blanket is representative of an elite fleece. At the 2023 Alpaca Quebec International Fleece Show, One of a Kind received for his 3rd fleece, 84 points showing 24.5/25 for Finesse & Handle, 10/10 for lack of guard hair, 8.5/10 for crimp, 4.5/5 for density. Stunning fineness of secondaries and primaries throughout! One of a Kind is just that. ONE OF A KIND! He is a combination of the Xclipse's Belenis line with Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX. This combination resulted in a very uniform fleece with an SD 2.2 and 100% comfort. One of a Kind's 2022 SGS histogram also showed an SD below 3 at 2.7 and again 0% over 30. 2023 SGS histogram, that just came in, continues to show a very uniform results with just 0.1% >30 and an SD of 3.3 on a now working male. One of a Kind has a develop structured fleece, long, luxurious and buttery and received comments as "Good uniformity, crimp, brightness and OUTSTANDING!
