If you are looking for a large male with a heavy bone structure, sturdy frame, long-staple length, density, heavy fleece weight, and high-frequency crimp, Sequoia is your guy, as he will bring you high yields of fleece for many years to come. Furthermore, his fleece is bright, ultra-fine, and has a heavenly handle. Sequoia is the son of Valor', a champion male, and his dam is Skyfall's grandmother. He has excellent genetics on both sides of his pedigree. Sequoia's sister, Valentine, created a fine cria who eventually won a fleece champion in 2021- Alpaca Rainbow Ranch's Apache Gentlemen's Alchesay in Colorado Springs. Many agreed that Valentine's bloodline (Valor) made the championship happen. The beauty of Sequoia's males has inspired us to breed Sequoia with Charli and Viognier for our 2024 offspring. Allow us to introduce you to our largest female alpaca, Viognier, or Gio for short. Gio has a solid foundation to build upon, thanks to her impressive pedigree with excellent bones: Overture, Matrix, Messiah, and XXXtreme. This particular young lady is quite lovely. Her crimp may be looser, but her fineness and density are consistently impressive. The animal's lineage boasts a variety of colors, which we hope will enhance our livestock collection. Gio is scheduled to have a summer 2025 cria with Alpaca Rainbow Ranch’s Top Knot. Both of these animals are sizable and have the potential to produce substantial offspring with superior fleece.

With his large frame, heavy bone structure, and long staple fleece, Sequoia consistently delivers density, heavy fleece weight, and high frequency crimp, producing bright, ultra fine fleece with a heavenly handle and high yields for years. On the dam’s side, Waypoint’s Viognier (AOA# 35364863, Beige Light Fawn), affectionately called Gio, brings size, strength, and versatility. She is our largest female with a solid foundation built upon an impressive pedigree that includes Overture, Matrix, Messiah, and XXXtreme. Gio is a lovely female whose fleece may carry a looser crimp style, but her fineness and density remain consistently impressive. Her lineage also boasts a wide range of colors, adding valuable diversity and potential to any breeding program. Together, this pairing has produced Pilsner, a young male with correct proportions, a strong frame, and fleece that is already showing signs of brightness, density, and softness. He has the potential to grow into a quality breeding male or an excellent addition to a fiber focused program. Pilsner is not yet registered with the AOA and is therefore offered at a discount price. The listed sale price is for him as a non-breeding male. If you would like him registered and considered as a breeding male, we can negotiate terms and complete the paperwork for you. Note on pricing: Pilsner is available for $1000 only as part of a package special when three males are purchased together for $3000.
