His genetics, show performances, fiber qualities & phenotype, production of multiple grey champions, & the collective caliber of fleece across his progeny made Irish Meadows Peruvian Showtime impossible to overlook. He is the product of the first grey breeding to Jacob Black. This combination did not disappoint with an offspring that had a beautiful head, perfect conformation, & stunning grey fleece. His first histogram displayed a 16.4 micron, 3.7 SD, and 100% comfort factor. Showtime’s fleece is not the traditional mix of black & white fibers, HE IS GREY-FIBERED! This may also come from his dam, Shades of Grace, who has a strong grey pedigree starting with two grey parents & following back to importation. Between his dam and sire, they amassed 29 championships (19 for Jacob Black & 10 for Shades of Grace.) Showtime followed by taking eight banners, including back-to-back Futurity Color Championships. Both his sire and dam have produced multiple champions. Over 160 banners for Jacob Black’s offspring. Many grey & black. Jacob Black also won Reserve Dark Herdsire of the year, two years in a row. Showtime is producing multiple champions as well. Irish Meadows Crusade, a modern rose grey, won 12 banners and 18 first place awards in his first show season, Spring of 2023. AMBER AUTUMN KENTUCKY MIST Kentucky Mist is the daughter of Snowmass Silver Signature the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas, used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. His histograms, awesome phenotype, and incredible conformation attest to this. Signature is a beautiful, compact, typey male whose outstanding genetics include Snowmass Royal Flush, Snowmass Andean Bronze, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Peruvian Bueno. Her dam, Kamaaina Kuuipo, had Top 15% EPDs in 2022! She is a multiple Blue-Ribbon winner, including 1st Place at the 2011 Futurity show! Kentucky Mist's maternal grandsire is 11X Champion, ATV Adonnis, who took 2012 Futurity Reserve Herdsire for dark colored offspring. Adonnis is out of Mr Roosevelt, a champion producer who was a cornerstone for Crescent Moon's black and grey program. Her maternal gg grandsire is Peruvian Andrajo, a full Alianza male imported in 1993 with Hemingway and Bueno. At 20+ years, Andrajo still had 23.8-micron fleece. We selected our 6x champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima for Kentucky Mist's 2025 cria. She is due in October. Offspring; On 3/3/21, Kentucky Mist gave birth to a lovely MSG female sired by Rockstar's Steely Dan. On 5/27/22, Kentucky Mist presented us with a beautiful LSG female sired by Amber Autumn Turbo Tribute. On 5/9/23, Kentucky Mist gave us a wonderful true black female sired by AOV Accoyo Eros. On 4/30/24, Kentucky Mist presented us with a wonderful LSG female sired by Irish Meadows Peruvian Showtime.
