Davos is a "beautiful" breeding Herdsire. His first cria is WC's Tyrion who is a stunning light rose grey male out of a fawn dam. Davos is the complete package. He is DENSE, consistent small crimp from shoulder to hip. Great fineness with a lovely handle. His cria and yearling fleece I combined for yarn because they were the same softness. It is a lovely light chocolate color. His Sire was the incomparable 4-Sight's Holy Smoke. Still a favorite of Heart and Soul Alpacas. A modern grey with many, many blues and championships. Sadly, Smokey passed in 2023. His genetics are definitely present in Davos. His show record does not reflect his characteristics. He was always in a combined medium grey class when showing. There is no way that he could compete with lighter grey males with their white fiber. I like to consider all of his "3rds" to actually be first and second place standings if he was competing in his true color class! Davos now has two rose grey offspring (one male/one female) when bred to fawn! Davos will be a great herdsire for ANY color breeding program.

Wintercreek's Tyrion of Sir Davos is stunning. He is the complete package! Phenotypically correct. Fiber that carries ALL of the showring requirements. Extreme density, fineness, bundling crimp style and uniformity from shoulder to hip. His dam is WC's AccoyoEndeavor Khalessi (MF), a blue ribbon/reserve & color champion winner. She has thrown two rose greys when bred to rose grey. Her fiber chacteristics come from her Accoyo lineage; Accoyo America Endeavor (WH), Accoyo El Nino (WH) and Peruvian Caligula (WH). And Peruvian Black Epic from her dam's side. Tyrion's sire is our own WC's Davos of Holy Smoke (DRG). Smokey (DSG), now deceased, was a multiple color & National Show champion winner. Tyrion's fiber is only getting better as he grows. He is a solid Rose Grey, not just on his hips and neck. From the top of his head down thru his blanket. As a cria his fleece was tightly crimped with bundles holding together. He has wonderful density and his fineness and feel of his fleece is beautiful. Conformation is spot on and he is phenotypically perfect. Tyrion will make a wonderful showring contender as well as a herdsire when he grows up.
