Elsie will be bred to Legends Rising Sun (“Sunny”), an Elite Legend grandson, this Fall. Elsie holds all of the fleece characteristics we strive for. Her 2023 histogram stats and EPD's are at almost 9 years old! Her fleece was the finest on the Alpaca Palace farm the year she was born, and it is a lasting fineness, as is that of Sunny. Sunny has incredible matchstick bundles full of a well-defined crimp and brightness, and he's maintaining uniformity and fineness across his blanket. His last histogram at 5.9 YEARS old is phenomenal with a Grade 1 fleece -- and it still looks amazing! We recommend that Elsie be bred to Sunny. We bred Elsie’s daughter to him and the resulting offspring, Lila, has a beautiful show-quality fleece, and she is my favorite of the 2024 cria crop. She'll be in the show ring this Fall. Elsie has been a great mom -- textbook birthing with plenty of milk, and she's attentive to her crias. She’s had 5 registered crias. Elsie is gentle and easy to care for, and she's in excellent health.
