Darling's first cria sired by Chicago. Chicago's Storm will be exciting to watch. I just love this young male. Storm has a very desirable phenotype and wonderful fine fleece with a great hand. Be sure to check his fiber stats. He has done well in the show ring amidst some very tough competition. I expect his fleece to continue to improve as he matures. We're really impressed with his density and uniformity of micron. Chicago's Storm is part of the black herd that we co-own with Little Creek Farm. Description

This handsome guy was born just following a severe thunderstorm warning (which had tornados land an hour East of here) early that morning. The storm stopped and he arrived just after 9 am to his maiden mom, Roseleen. His dad is Cinco C's Chicago's Storm. The heat wave was on day 2 and he and mom settled safe inside the barn. He looked to be black before drying off but with the heat and humidity, that took a while! We were so surprised that his true black mom and dad produced a lovely dark rose gray but understood b/c one grandfather is a champion classic rose grey. Even more surprising, his eyes are 2 different colors, one is brown and the other is "blue". He's a character, too! I believe my grandmother would call him "Precocious" Always coming over to say HI and those EARS!!! Furry and "frosted". Can't wait to see his coloring after his cria clip grows out. He's weighed 60# at 14 weeks so clearly, he's filling out fast. We'll have to wean him soon as the girls are already annoyed with his antics. We plan to show him Spring 2026.
