UPDATE: Forest delivered a light brown male cria sired by Northstar. This is the one time I was hoping for a boy. So excited to watch him mature. Well you just never know what color will come through. ALAS, I bred her to a dark brown male (Raynay's Aladdin by Jet) with dark genetics all through his pedigree and what do we get??? White..... But healthy and lots of spunk. Forest finished out her yearling halter campaign as the Reserve Champion at the double shows at GWAS. Now heading to Heart & Soul Alpacas for a date with Northstar. We are adding Forest to our female foundation herd and looking forward to see what she will produce for Raynay!! Can't believe the color Sonata's Major Theme by Electrofyre is throwing for us! His first crop of cria hit the ground this year and we are ecstatic. Major's sire is the 9 Time Judge's Choice recipient WLK Electrofyre. Willow's sire is the infamous Chakotah. With such prepotent genetics in the union you would expect nothing but quality. Willow's last offspring was the 2021 AOA National Dark Female Supreme Champion, Raynay's Zephyr by Tempo (now owned by Memory M-acres). Willow has done it again with a beautiful bay black female cria. She hit it out of the park. Hopefully Black Forest will follow her sister's lead for the 2022 show season. We liked this union so much we bred Willow back to Major for a Summer 2022 cria! Not to shabby of a juvie halter show career!! We participated in 6 shows and she secured 5 championships. We look forward to a stellar yearling campaign next year.
