UPDATE: IT'S A GIRL!! Medium Fawn beauty! Peyton is confirmed pregnant to Golden Legacy and is due Summer of 2025. Another Black Male Cria sired by WLK Berenger hit the ground running May 25th, 2024. Expect him to follow his big brothers foot steps. Peyton delivered a true black male cria sired by WLK Berenger Spring 2023. Knowing that Peyton's sire was a true black I purposefully chose our true black award winning herdsire, Berenger, in hopes of have a black offspring. And we did but I would have preferred a female, LOL. Very grateful mom and cria are doing great! This youngster was named Onyx and was crowned National Reserve Color Champion as a juvie. He now calls Shelhart Acres Farm home in the great state of Indiana! Amazing fineness at 4 years of age!! We are so excited to add Peyton to our Raynay Alpaca Farm herd. Her 2022 EPD for fineness has her in the top 5%.
