Sebastian took home first place for Get-of-Sire at the 2010 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival!. Six-time color champ Sauk Creek Sebastian's first crias have been spectacular! He has thrown color including a medium brown out of a white dam. Sebastian has complete coverage from his nose to his toes with unbelievable leg coverage. With heavy bone, excellent conformation, incredibly dense crimpy fleece and a sweet, calm nature, Sebastian can bring improvement to any breeding program. Judge Mike Safley called Sebastian "robust" and gave him a color championship. Sebastian's famous sire, JSFI Dakota, was winner of eight get-of-sire awards in his show career. The son of Magical Farm's PPeruvian Emilio, Dakota has passed on his strong bone and fleece characteristics. Sebastian’s buttery soft fleece has incredible staple length, density, deep amplitude crimp and soft hand. His histogram reads: AFD=19.4 SD=4.4 CV=22.4% CF=98.4% Curve=39. Sebastian has been busy "criating" the next generation. His cria are so distinctive that no one has to ask who is the father and they're winning big in the show ring. We also offer substantial discounts to new and smaller breeders, repeat customers and multiple breedings. Call 920-807-0108 (home) or 608-698-3431 (cell) to arrange a breeding date. He's an easy handler with a great disposition.

I shouldn't have favorites, but I have to admit I'm not the only one who adores this girl. And she makes the best babies. Anastasia (we call her Annie), has the presence of her sire and the sweet disposition of her dam. She is fine-fibered with excellent density and crimp. She's a rock solid foundation female who is a terrific mother. Her first cria, Sauk Creek Soloman, was sired by our own herdsire Sebastian and is our up-and-coming herd sire after a successful show career. Annie and Invincible's Brookhollow Superstar, an award-winning medium fawn with a micron count of 18.4 at the age of three, produced a beautiful dark brown girl with black points in the summer of 2010. Felicity's conformation is solid and her fleece shows nice crimp with good density. I'm sorry to report that we recently lost Felicity to a bacterial brain infection. She had just won a reserve color championship at last year's Great Midwest Alpaca Festival.

Description

Sauk Creek Soloman is one of Sebastian's first boys and he's a winner in our books. Soloman is a JSFI Dakota and NWA Ltd. Accoyo Goldsmith grandson and he has the best of both his grandsires. He has the incredible luster, density and fineness of his sire Sebastian along with the crimp and bundling charateristics of his dam, Annie. He is perfectly conformed and has his dad's calm, sweet disposition and a very curious nature. Seems he's also inherited Sebastian's very healthy libido. He is, in fact, the spittin' image of his father. He's often referred to as "Little Sebastian."
