The Goldsmith placed 1st in the Get of Sire class for a second time at the 2006 Wisconsin Spring Fling!
The true test of a herd sire comes when his offspring are shown in the Get of Sire class and we are thrilled that the Goldsmith has done well.
All Hiben Hollow animals are BVDV negative! We have tested our entire herd for BVD so you can buy and breed at Hiben Hollow with confidence. All animals entering and leaving Hiben Hollow will be quarantined and tested to maintain this BVD free status including our own show animals. All females coming in for breeding to HHWI herd sires will be required to be BVD tested prior to arrival.
The Goldsmith will be returning to Hiben Hollow May 20, 2006.

Dam: AFR'S Peruvian Latvia
30449398<--ari-->White<--color-->Full Peruvian
It's a girl!!! Latvia had a girl at 11:20 a.m. Thursday, July 13. AOSC Peruvian Anastasia by Goldsmith--or "Annie" for short--weighed 20 lbs. and is white/beige with fawn on the tips of her ears and along the top of her back.
Latvia is a lovely full Peruvian with excellent conformation, dense fleece and a really sweet disposition. She's also an incredible mother. Latvia's dam is Pperuvian Ada who has an exceptional track record with her crias.
Bred to NWA, LTD Accoyo's Goldsmith, the award-winning full Accoyo fawn herdsire out of Accoyo Felix and Accoyo Aletha, this is Latvia's second Goldsmith baby. Last year, she had Goldsmith's Peruvian Sirius. Once again, it was an easy birth for Latvia who is one of those wonderfully dependable moms. <--description-->
Description
I shouldn't have favorites, but I have to admit I'm not the only one who adores this girl. And she makes the best babies. Anastasia (we call her Annie), has the presence of her sire and the sweet disposition of her dam. She is fine-fibered with excellent density and crimp. She's a rock solid foundation female who is a terrific mother. Her first cria, Sauk Creek Soloman, was sired by our own herdsire Sebastian and is our up-and-coming herd sire after a successful show career.
Annie and Invincible's Brookhollow Superstar, an award-winning medium fawn with a micron count of 18.4 at the age of three, produced a beautiful dark brown girl with black points in the summer of 2010. Felicity's conformation is solid and her fleece shows nice crimp with good density. I'm sorry to report that we recently lost Felicity to a bacterial brain infection. She had just won a reserve color championship at last year's Great Midwest Alpaca Festival.
